Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: London To Paris
How could next year NOT be incredible when it starts with you prancing around Paris?! Gather round and get ready to hit the road, the party starts pronto.Shortly before we find our ferry for France, we'll be taking in the English coastline beauty of the White Cliffs of Dover. They owe their gorgeousness to their composition of chalk - you're seeing things and we haven't even left the UK!On arrival in France we'll be in Calais, where we will take in the history of World War I battlefields in the Valley of the Somme and Vimy Ridge. This sobering reminder of the war, and a historical talk will help us remind ourselves of the days gone by.In the spirit of firework-filled skies, we take a 'Tour of Illuminations' to kick things off, marveling at Paris lit up by night and sparkling with romance. City of love, city of light, city of bridges, Paris is known in many ways, and loved the world over. Cheese, wine, blockbuster sights at every corner, museums, shopping, the list is endless and the good times are only just beginning. Tonight, we'll take to the cute cobbled streets of the Latin Quarter to find some delicious French eats, who knows you might even dine to the sounds of the harmonica to complete the oh-so French scene.
Day 2: Paris
Start dropping the “bonne annee” line as it’s new years eve! We’ll hit up the Fragonard Perfumery to stock up on authentic French perfume, obviously. What’s next? Fromage and champagne picnic on Montmartre hill perhaps? Maybe dash out for one last bucket list tick of the year with a trip to the Mona Lisa in the world-famous Louvre museum? One thing’s for sure, frequent stops to warm up over a glass of wine and a cheese plate should be high on the agenda, and people watching in the Marais or St Germain should be high on the priority list today. The city is yours, and it’s overflowing. Tonight it’s New Year, and time for Paris to show us how it’s done.
Day 3: Paris
Today we’ll soak up the city from a new angle by taking an included cruise along the River Seine, for some of the best views. Le Eiffel, the Musee d'Orsay, the Grand Palais, we’ll see them all and more.
Day 4: Paris To London
Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because you kicked off the New Year by living your best life in Paris. Our spirits sky-high, we’ll pack our bags and get ready to ride back to London.Okay team, we've done all we can to sail you into the new year with style and a raging enthusiasm to travel.
